Danielle Nicole Metals has taken on a life of its own recently, and as such I must be flexible and understanding to its needs. It has become more and more evident to me recently that the business has outgrown the original image I had created for it. Therefore I am proud to announce that Danielle Nicole Metals will soon undergo major surgery and become… dum dada dum… DANIELLE NICOLE ADORNMENTS
This seemingly simple change will accomplish a number of positive outcomes, most importantly the clarification of what it is that I do. Metals is no longer an appropriate title since I have been working with and exploring a wide variety of natural and synthetic materials to give my work a certain degree of authenticity, feeling, and occasional creepiness. The new brand name also gives me the ability to play around with acronym DNA, which will be all manner of enjoyable.
And now without any further ado, I present a sneak peek at the re-branding of Danielle Nicole Adornments:
New website and promotional material soon to come!

This may be a bit of a redundant theme over the past 24 hours, but I just had to put my 2 cents in about the release of Lady Gaga’s new video “Alejandro.” She’s been doing outrageous for a while, but this is a step in a completely different direction of crazy and I have to love it for a number of reasons. The glitter has been replaced by latex, the colors substituted for harsh dark and light contrasts, and a blatant fetishistic theme clearly shows that we just might be coming out of the conservative slump we have been in for the past decade.
It’s things like this that give me hope that Danielle Nicole Metals will be able to thrive in the changing social climate without having to compromise aesthetic and thematic tendencies. The gap between fetish and fashion is quickly closing, and I’m so glad that I am able to get myself going at a time like this.
And speaking of my crazy work….
I’ve received 2 more lovely images from the shoot last week that can now be found on my website!

Over the past month, since my work had been featured on the Etsy blog, I have had a huge amount of interest in my work. This has led to all kinds of amazing opportunities and a lot of hard work following them through and making connections along the way. Today felt like the day where all this work has really paid off and I got to see what I had been working for. I got images back from 2 shoots I did last month, started getting images back from a shoot on Wednesday, and got my set of Predator Rings back from a music video shoot for the Christina Aguilera feat. Nicki Minaj single “Woo Hoo”!
Take a look at the rest of the post to see all the sexy images…
